i got the screamin eagle wire, left no issue as its accessible. but darn thing was the right plug which goes thru the plastic wire casing (runs on top of the tank). can someone share the easiest way to have it change, perhaps lifting the tank to gain access or do i need to do more than lifting the tank. no intention now to relocate as yet. cheers.
Answer for post 11.
If I understand, the wire is running through the hard plastic cover.
That cover should separate into halves, once OEM zip ties are cut.
Another member may comment if the tank removal aid in installation.
Hope that helped.
If you mean the wire is running thru the flexible knitted wiring plastic sheath, "I got noth'in".
