While rerouting my fuel line today, I found the VOES unit was simply resting under the tank with the vacuum line pinched due to the previous fuel line routing. The bracket and switch are still in place but I don't see where it's supposed to mount. I trimmed off the end of the vacuum line so VOES should be working now, but would like to mount it properly.
Bingo! My bracket is not cut out like yours, as my petcock is on the right side. Just bolt it on the backside and you're good!
IIRC, I used a 3/16" vacuum/fuel line from VOES to carb. The VOES is actually useful, so you want it to work.
That clear tubing is good for overflow hose, but not in a vacuum/heat /fuel/gas application.

Ya, I wondered about the clear fish tank type tubing. Not surprised as I've had to straighten out a few other examples of jack leg engineering. Thanks for the mounting info. Picked up the hardware today. My local dealer actually had the bolt, washer, and locknut.
