I need to rewire a taillight circuit board on my 2000 1200c sportster. When I got it it already had a led light with turn signals and load control on it but it's all just strait wires and I have a short the wires are just kinda hanging under the fender keeps blowing the fuse. What do I need besides the circuit board.. whats the best way to clean it up.not very good pics on jp.
On my bike there is a rubber conduit stuck to the inside of the fender. It is off to one side so as not to get the brunt of the rubbish thrown up by the tyre.
If the wires are all messed up you might be able to buy a complete harness. It will come with connectors on it. Failing that from a wiring diagram make one or repair what you have.
You need to get all of the tail light connections inside the tail light assembly. The LED light should have instruction, so follow them and connect the light wires to the tail light plug. Plug it in and done.
