My wife paid $249 in CO through a HD dealership. It was worth every penny. after one week of riding around the back roads with me, we took an 85 mi ride into the mountains and she had no problems. came out of the course with the confidence needed to get on and go.
In Ohio the class is free and MANDATIORYfor any one under 18 years of age and only $25 for every one else. It's one day of classroom and two days of riding. Deffanitly well worth it but as said before you have to schedule early.

I took the course and the cost was $275 for a 3 day course, the H/D dealer gave us a $25 gift certificate, HOG gave us another $50, which helped the sting of the cost, the course was worth the expense.
The dealer supplied the bikes for the course,Buell Blast.

Tom, was it the National HOG club that reimbursed your $50 or a local HOG chapter? If it was theNational Club, can you point us in the right direction for getting that reimbursement.
I did my Experience Riders Course on base for free. My wife is paying for her BRC off base and we paid $210.00for it. I don't mind paying it, but ifsomeone will help defer the cost, I amall for that.
