Default new grips

Hey guys how hard can it be to replace stock grips on my 06 sportster? I will buy slip on kind. to use any . I do not want to mess with the throttle body. Thanks slick

i changed mine, took apart the controls, and it was EASY>......10 min or so.....SIMPLE

If you have a pair of needle nose vice grips, then there is no problem. you just gotta hold the throttle cables so you can get them off the old grips and on the new

A very simple job. Took a little bit longer than 10 minutes, but no more than 1 hour. The throttle side is a little tricky. I used forceps instead of needle nosed vice grips but its really one of the easier jobs to do yourself, just be careful that you dont put a kink in the cables.

good call. this is what made by job 30 min. I had to look for one of them that dropped on the ground, that is when i found out they were not attached
