Default Brake pedal angle adjustment

Any tips on how to adjust my pedal lower?

Cut the rod at the cylinder end, drill a new hole and be done.

Cut a section out of the rod and fit a turnbuckle for infinite adjustment.

is it ok if i cut the threaded part of the heim joints and remove the nut?

I would check the service manual to see if it can be adjusted. Looks like a lock nut by the master cylinder normally associated with adjustment.

There is a specific adjustment for that nut. It applies a certain amount of tension to the spring covered by the rubber boot to release the brake or rather holds up the weight of the brake pedal.

I am not seeing a nut at the heim joint that connects the rod to the brake peddle but you could cut the rod down there and cut a thread for a screw on heim joint that would give you adjustment.

DK Customs sells an adjustable brake rod that will allow you to adjust the angle of the brake pedal
