Would baffles make a difference?

OK, so i changed the tune to the diablo 2 into 1 exhaust and it runs beautifully now. Bizarre. The only thing I can think of is the Speedster shorts must be like the short shots and run each pipe separate from the other, the 909 Speedster i have have a 2-1-2 design so the tune for a 2-1 is better suited to those pipes. Still waiting to hear from V and H, but for now until winter, i think I'll be OK. Thanks for all the input.
