Default delete or relocate dash lights.

I have a 2001 XLH 883. I've done a speedometer relocation but left the dash lights on the stock top clamp. I'm looking at switch to a set of riser-less bars and don't really know what to do with the dash lights. should I buy another speedo bracket that has the dash lights attached? Can I relocate them somewhere else? Or is it just easier to get rid of the all together?

Welcome from across the pond.

Since you did a speedo redo, I would also relocate those lights. Koso has a light set you can splice up here. It comes with a bracket. I'm sure others can point you to other brands.

Did you reuse the stock speedo when you relocated it? If so, where did you move it to? It might make sense to move the dash lights with it.

I just depinned mine and tucked it under the tank after my Speedo broke lol, you should check out older clamshells or just drill holes in yours if you want to keep the lights functional.

yep still the OEM speedo. its mounted to the left side of the tank. using the front tank mount bolt. there are mounts that have the dash included. kind of wish i bough one of them now.
