I have a 2015 sportster xl883l, looking at a few different styles of builds. My main concern right now for one of the styles, is the swingarm longer, or different in any way from let's say an iron 883/1200? Or is it just shocks? I have tried to do some research but haven't found any luck.
You can use the above link to 'compare' part numbers from different years to find
changes that have been made by the MoCo... As for swingarms, I think a change
was made ~2014-2015 to a single 'through bolt' at the pivot with the motor mount.
I believe the swingarms are all the same length for rubbermount XL models, whereas
the XR models are completely different.
