Default Wheel spacer orientation

Working on a 2003 XL883R

Took these wheels off about a month ago and should have paid closer attention to how they were installed.

Which way are these "V" shaped notches in the wheel spacers suppose to face? They are on both the front & rear wheel spacers.

Also, I believe this skinny spacer is for the right side of the front wheel, I believe it is part #43358-00 (#10 on the front wheel diagram)

Anyways, after looking closely it certainly looks like this specific spacer might be chamfered on this top side. Is it, or is it not? I'm not really sure. If it is, which way is the chamfer suppose to face?

Thank you

Are you sure that skinny washer isn't #2? Looks like it's just a flat washer for backing up the lock washer and nut. Sometimes those other spacers will stay inside the wheel hub unless you tip over then they usually fall out and roll into oblivion never to be seen again lol.

It’s not.

I have that flat washer, lock washer and nut put aside separately.
