I have a 2000 Sportster XL1200c , my ignition control module went bad and there are none available so I had to get an after market one. I got an ACCEL 35496 single/duel fire programmable. It only shows 3 wires for duel fire but my original has 5 wires coming from it, does anyone have a wiring diagram that shows all 5 wires. My original module
I don't know, these instructions state 35496 is for 1978-99 bikes. Anyhow, later in this PDF are wiring diagrams. You certainly had a look at these instructions, what exactly is confusing you?
The wiring diagram that VZ posted looks pretty clear to me. Blue and brown wire are unused.
John
Yes the blue and brown wires are not used on the new module, what I want to know is what the 2 wires control on the bike, am I cutting out something I might need. I do my research so I don't create a new problem.
However that does not answer the question I have, which is, what do the other 2 wires on the bike go to. I don't like cutting cutting out wires without knowing what they control. Could cause other problems.

Look it up in the factory service manual, itll tell you what they are.
