'07 Nightster. Vivid black paint, OEM grey color, and all, OEM motor.
Considering adding CC to stock OEM ham can.
DK has a video where there drill a hole in the ham and the CC hangs vertical directly under.
Tubing/ vent lines remain inside the air filter HC cover.
With the black paint and the chrome/ polished push rod tubes and head covers I am undecided about which CC color would look subtle/ OEM.
Anyone have photos?
Any votes/ comments?

My gut reaction was black as I am not a huge fan of chrome, but after looking up a few photos of that bike online I would say chrome would look better. It would match the chrome accents already in that area.
Why do you want to add a catch can to the stock air filter unit? The stock air filter system vents oil vapor into the air intake it is then burnt off in the comustion chambers.
Best not to over think things and try to fix something that isn't broken.
If H-D thought there was a need for a catch can, they'd have installed one as factory fitment.

I would consider the stock routing of oil vapor into the intake as "broken".
H-D didn't have a choice in this matter, pretty sure this was a gov requirement to lower emissions.

When choosing the finish of your Catch Can the main thing to ask yourself is if you want it go unnoticed in comparison to the surrounding chrome..
Or if you want the Catch Can to be seen as an aspect of the chrome.

Ya, post 5, :24 second mark give a good photo of "my" bike.
DK in post 9 shows the two can options and how they hang vertically under the air cleaner.
In my case, as in post 5, it is the grey OEM ham can filter.
I am still unsure of black or chrome, yet as mentioned above, perhaps buying chrome and painting it black is the answer.
