Harley is going to have OEM easy enough. Check the 07 catalog on page 638. It appears that you can just buy the lower section of cable. That will likely be the cheapest, even compared to aftermarket. All these part no's are for 01-03 883 and for stock black cables...
Lower section only (Cable length B) 38663-00, $23.52
Full length cable (Cable length C) 38663-00, $52.75
Yes, the part no is the same. The key to the price difference is the cable length reference. That'll make sense when you look at the drawing on page 639. If you need it right now, that's your price. If not, Surdyke and other online HD dealers can get you good discounts.
That would be my first thought. Option two is to check with the service and parts guys to see if they have any take-offs there. It might be a long shot for an 02 but often they keep take-off parts from new bar installs. You might get lucky and get a used cable for cheap.
Next option would be to check local indy's. They will almost always have spare parts bins. Odds are far greater of finding a used or donor cable from those guys.
Next option is to look for an aftermarket cable to replace yours. Barnett is the first cable name that comes to mind. Look in Drag Spec, Custom Chrome, and maybe V-Twinn. Most indy's will be able to get you good prices from those vendors and likely get it shipped within a couple days.
Last option would be to check classifieds here or Ebay. But in both cases I'd expect slim pickings as well as a long turnaround.
Those aren't all possibilities but should certainly be enough to start. Good luck.
