I carry a "reserve" canister that is attached to my "swingarm bag"
(the bag is not actually attached to the swingarm)

It somewhat blends in. Here is an older not-so-good picture of it.

Every time fuel bottles/auxiliary fuel cans, etc. pops up on the forums, I feel obligated to post this:

Oooof! Damn. But mad props to the guy for taking a photo of his bike engulfed in flames on the side of the highway while suffering from third degree burns...

Just wondering - did you ever get the shorter damper tubes installed ?

I didn’t install them yet, raised the forks in the tree and she’s alright with 1” less of rear shock height. Funny thing is I modified everything on the sporty and she’s super tight and reliable. Planning on a tranny service on my mates bike then a ride today on the sporty. It’s still a bit sketchy with all the runoff from the storms; going to tell my flat lander mate, let’s take it easy on the first pass for recon.

The Dyna clutch is kicking my ***. I can get it to hold but it’s still too much lever effort for my style riding and my dainty build. The VPC holds well with the SE spring, but its still too much. With the VPC and the EZpull the cable adjustment needs to be tight, real tight. That’s puts a mighty strain on the reach as the lever pull hits hard in the first few mm far out from the bar.

Dyna is back on the table, installing the 320 pound spring. Hoping for a test run this weekend. At this point I need a go fund me for Formula +.

I made my hand shift and foot clutch several years ago. I absolutely love it! It’s one of a kind and you don’t see many hand shift bikes around ever. Not to mention the rigid struts 😁

Jneis that is super cool. Got the shifter linkage, couldn’t make out the clutch linkage/cable from the pic.

That’s a sweet setup, I’d have a Mopar tee handle or a nice white ball on the shifter to beat people over the head.

Your’s is much more subtle and cool. Thanks for sharing.
