Tuner needed or not?
We are in the process of buying a 2014 XL1200T from a dealer. Bike has only 1244 miles on it...Finance manager states the previous owner hated it...traded it in for a Honda (model unknown). Wife has a 2008 XL1200C...her first Harley. This 2014 will be her secondary bike...has a 2025 FatBoy as well. The question I have....planning on adding Tab Performance slip-ons. No changes to the intake currently planned. Will a tuner be required? The information I have been able to find is that H-D moved the catalytic converter to the mufflers rather than the head pipe some time around that year of production. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.
