Finally got finished with my first fluid change at 6k just got the bike 2 months ago the old oil filter had a date in black marker as july 05 so not been done in 2 years also changed the tranny to mobil 1.....and all I can say is $hit the bed it made a world of difference in acceleration, gear changing noise etc I must have an extra 10-15 hp well it feels like it. I guess the guy I got it from knew he was selling it so didn't bother and it took me a while to get all the tools etc but now I am a happy camper
