Default Turn signal problem

Recently I put new rear struts on my sportster and now the turn signals won't work. I checked and everything is connected. Could I have missed a ground wire? Are there circut breakers or fuses that need to be checked? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Default RE: Turn signal problem

I'm about to hook up some new signals on mine and what I've noticed is that for the markers there is only one conductor and for a dual filliment (turn signal) there are two conductors. These leads are all +. The - is taken from the frame ground to complete the circuit. Be sure that you have good contact between the frame and the light housing. Any vibration dampening you try with rubber or teflon washers will cause problems as these are electrical insulators, not conductors, and therefore will not allow a complete circuit.

If you have a signal with 3 wires than the 3rd will be ground and you should check that that is good but don't stop there, check your possitive connections as well.

Hope this helps,
Pyro
