Just bought my first bike, '08 1200C vivid black (pick it up saturday) and im only 20 years old! Also my first post in this forum, though ive been reading it alot lately. One question I have is i got S and S slip on mufflers, most people here seem to have V & H, but the dealer recomended S and S, not sure why, just wondering what you guys think.
Now, when you say "first bike" do you mean first HD, or this is actually the first motorcycle you have every ridden? If the ladder, I'd be a little surprised that you bought such a big bike for the one you plan to learn on.

I was wondering the same thing...dealer recommended for an '08 model? Maybe they are Screaming Eagle Street Performance slip-ons? If so, I've got some on order, and no, I don't want LOUD!
