Gettin tired of the Rocker C questions.... About every third person that comes into the store wants to know, "Do you have any Rocker Softails in?" I totally understand the question, because I would probably be asking the same thing.... The damn MOCO is advertising the new model like crazy, while at the same time announcing production delays..... WTF? Sorry... just venting [8D]
I WANT A ROCKER, but I know I'm not going to get one.... at least anytime soon.
HD has done a GREAT job getting the word out and sparkedexcitement. HD is experiencing some supply/demand issues... IMHO, marketing was given the rein when the engineers and production folks knew the Rocker wouldn't happen, at least not that fast. At the same time our beloved sporties are worth.... ummm. Let's just say, if I trade her in and upgrade, I'll be eating worms and drinking pond water.
HD is a great company, but they need to listen to the people who "really" make it happen.Looking at the design, I'm sure the legal department has more than a few questions in theengineering.
HDK, I've never asked.... because I knew the answer. No Rockers, but thanks for providing some "eye candy" as I looked over the stock. Man, sorry about all the other riders who want one. Nice bike. That is hard to pass up!
Ya know, I've been lookin at it, and lookin at it, and lookin at it..... and I honestly don't like it. I think it's raked out too far. Just my opinion....it's still a nice lookin bike and all, I'm just not a fan of the front end on it.
So, what's the answer? Do you have any Roc........? J/K
Texas Harley is advertising them as being ON THE SHOWROOM FLOOR...um....sometime by the end of this month. I dunno, I was planning on making the "grand event", but forgot the date. I just got my '07 Sporty Low a week ago and have been too concerned with breaking it in (only have 75 miles to go...[8D]). I'll drop it off sometime this week to have them put all the "necessisities, er...accessories on, and maybe have them do the 1,000 mile service and switch to syntheticwhile they are at it. I'll see if they have the new invisible Rockers on display while I'm at it, assuming they'll even have one.
I heard that Harley is so sorry about the production delay that they have authorized the Rockers to be sold at $7,500 below MSRP once they hit the showroom floor.
Maybe it's all a pun. Aren't rockersthe things you sit in, on the front porch, while waiting for something to happen. HDK needs to buy a few, paint them orange & black, and put them out front.
