brake lever forward control same as mid?

brake lever forward control same as mid?
I am looking at replacing my forward control brake lever withvented chrome -
I have found a slotted pedal #42993-04 which has both mid and front control instalation pictures on the HD box, description is for mid-control. Will the same pedal work on mid and forward controls?
I have also found vented brake control for forward - HD # 42980-04
The reason for my question of the 42993-04 item is I was buying it on e-bay based on the pic in hte listing

In looking up the part # and on the box it also shows both mid & forward instals - it seems to mee these pedals have to be totaly different. Am I right?

Do you have a pic of your std brake pedal in the forward control mount? I was wondering if the brake connecting rod would be angled.
