Now that it's fall, it's not the scent of trees and flowers that we enjoy, but the smell of burning leaves, of backyard barbecues, charcoal grills, campfires full of pine, oak and cedar. It's hard to describe to non riders how important our sense of smell is to us when we are riding. We get to enjoy it in a world where we are constantly bombarded on TV by all the commercials that talk about "smell". It's great to pick up different smells on a bike.
