42, married, kid, two dogs, Sportster and very happy!
Went to see Rush (remember 2112, The Spirit of Radio, Tom Sawyer anyone ...?), in concert in London a month ago and felt my age as most of the others in the audience were from my generation, complete with beer guts and bald patches.
Also watched School of Rock with my 9 year old daughter this morning. She found it particularly funny when Jack Black's character was handing our history of rock CD's for homework ... Rush, Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd. All my generation and stuff that I continue to listen to.
LBJ was in office. I'm 42. I saw Van Halen in '81 and'84at stadium venues. I saw 'em again last week from a luxury sky box. I never want to go to an indoor concert again. My forehead seems like it gets a little bigger every day, but I've still got a 2 foot long pony-tail. Never married or had kids of my own, but I've got a fine woman and two Harleys. Things could be worse.
