It looks good to me.That's a nice set up you have there.I ride with the solo seat on most of the time. When I need to,I put on the Sundowner seat and quick release sissy bar with a luggage rack.I have the Ultra Tourbag. The thing is HUGE!It holds everything I could possibly need for a long weekend. The cool thing is,I can rest it on the passenger seat, instead of the luggage rack, and use it as a backrest. And I can still bungee stuff to the rack!
That looks great on your bike. I have opted for a Motherwell luggage rack on mine and a bag also. Right now I use a Harley/Sac bag which is ok but I like the look of that bag much better. How much will it hold?
This is the only pic I have right now of the bag on the back of mine when I use it. It used to be black but faded in the sun and looks kinda raggedy now.
PigInABlanket, how much will it hold - good question. I hadn't tested it - so now I will.
I just went out and fully extended the main compartment. It holds a 12 pack of long-necks snuggly. For something bigger they have the full sized gran tour which is larger.
Very nice indeed. I just bought the same bike not to long ago. Once I get comfortable riding street I'm going to buy that setup. I'm not looking to change much on the bike because I like it the way it is. I didn't know the tag would go vertical. I see you are in Georgia. I live in Lithia Springs, GA just 20 miles West of Atlanta.
I heard through my Harley dealer that someone took the Army theme further and added the Army star on the fenders and a bomber girl on the tank with hash marks for kills. I found a full helmet online with a green/black mat finish with flames and the Army star on each side.
Stingray - yes it's the Bell Combat Drifter it's a great helmet, hate having to wear a full face right now because of the weather.
Sean - Congrats on the new bike, ride on! I would love to see pics of taking the Army theme further. I've thought about adding a star myself and nose art to the gas tank. The star would be easy enough but the art on the gas tank I haven't figured out yet. If you ever head into Atlanta let me know and we can go for a beer somewhere.
