Getting new tires put on.

I want to have new tires put on my 95 1200 Sportster factory cast wheels. I intend to remove the wheels myself, buy the tires from JP, and take all of it to a local shop to change out. Do I have to take everything off the wheels [not the tires] for this to work out ? I do have a manual. Any info or tips on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

You do not have to remove the rotors or pulley.

You can leave the rotors and pully on when to take it to the shop... The shop will remove them and put them back on making sure they have the proper torque.. Otherwise if you want to do it... get a good torque wrench.... a Micro-Click style... That old deflecting beam type wrench is old-school and not as accurate.. You always want your wheels and tires to be in the safest condition possible... Could mean your life!!!
