Thanks,
The mini apes are 12", the white grips I think came from the Custom Chrome catalog. We bought a set from J&P first, but they split apart.
You don't have to worry about reach, Perch, they will pull them back to fit you before they tighten them down. But you will probably not be able to get the "Rat Fink" slightly forward look that is usually done.
Slow speed MSF manuvers are a little awkward at first but like with anything else after a little practice they seem natural.
are the black cables cheaper have the bars cables on back order,i took the rear reflecter off and it seems to make the bike look great fro behind,i want to do forward controls on order, and black engine guards do the engine guards fit with the forward controls.i have got mixed opinions locally.
The black cables are cheaper and I think they look better. My first mod was to lose the rear fender refelector. I haven't see one with the black engine guards. I have seen plenty of other sportster models like the 1200C with engine guards and forward controls. I don't see why they wouldn;t work. Check with your local Chrome Advisor or Service Manager. They will know for sure.
nice job woody. i want to do the springer seat too but sounds like it might be a bit much for my patience to handle. i still see your ecm poking out under there too, any plans to hide or cover that? bars look awesome too but with that speedo relocated could look even better.
