Actually two separate shows, back to back. I thought the second one, on the Mongols, was better. It covered much of the book with a lot of commentary from Queen and Red Dog. Red Dog actually seemed to be a likeable character compared to how he was portrayed in the book.Although I'm sure he would cut Queen's throat like he said he would in the book if they ever crossed paths! Maybe Queen and Red Dog can call a truce so both can star in the movie and make some big bucks?
For those who missed it, both shows re-air on 12/2 on the the National Geographic Channel. Better than bare-breasted Africans!
