Nicely done, I like the A/C you have. I'd like to get a small round A/C or velocity stack type for mine, I hate the SE and ham can.
You may want to check the Crossroads Performance MaliAir if you want a round A/C. Expensive, but it uses an external breather system which is the way to go IMO.
Jockey shift? Dude, please do so. I've really been itching to do the same. Just haven't gotten the ***** to do it. I heard it's actually not that hard to install the kit. If you do go for it, document the process via pics and notes if you don't mind. So the rest of us can learn a few things while we're drooling over your scoot.
On a side note. Now i may be way off here but what if you were to color match your heat shields to the silver on your tins? May look kinda cool..then again may look sh!tty. Just a thought.
Steve, the shields are as close to color matched to the tins as they're going to get. I Scotchbrited the shields and the pipes so they are way knocked down from the chrome. They are a satin color now which looks similar to your bars.
Bottom line: I need to pull up my skirt and lose the heat shields....
I will do a step-by-step when I do the jockey shift. My old bike was jockey/suicide clutch so I'm sure it will come right back, I hope....[sm=grinangel.gif]
I'm wondering: Do you ever scrape your knees on those butterfly nuts on the A/C? [/align]
Nope. But sometimes I scrape my nuts on the butterflies....
Animal cruelty. I'm notifying PETA you SOB.
The jockey shift, dude i'd so appreciative if you posted a "how you did it" thread. Best of luck man. What kit are you going with? Last i remembered there are only a few vendors that offer such a kit.
