My right rear signal has no juice but the front and left signals are fine. I took off the strut and the wire is connected. Could it be a faulty breaker? As always any comments are appreciated.
Thanks,
John
I had exactly the same problem on a 6-month old XL1200R only on the left rear signal. Turned out to be a bad bulb. Have you tried swapping bulbs to see if that's the problem?
Take a look under the fender where the wires come through from under the seat and see if the tire rubbed through the wire. Ride 2 up? Hit some holes?
Breaker or fuses would not put 1 light out. If no wiring problems check the bulb and the socket contacts. A dab of grease or vasoline in the socket helps deter corrosion.
I did check the bulb, it's good. The front light works but there is no juice to the rear right light. If the turn signal is held the right front will stay on but not blink and nothing at the rear. I will double check connections again. Thanks.
papaschilling,
Did you check the wires under the rear fender as tcstd suggested? If so, check to see if there is a connector between the relay and the light itself. I would think that there is some sort of a connector where the wires would go into the chrome support. If this checks out allright, disconnect the above connector, attach your meter and activate the turn signal. If you have the pulsing voltage, your ground is bad, somewhere. if no pulsing voltage present, trace the wires back into the area near your battery and try to identify the turn signal relay. I'm not 100% sure which relay it is. But once you find it, look for loose wires.
I hope this little bit helps.

Thanks for all the help, I found a loose connection, a small white connector box under the seat with 4 wires and one of them was out. Plugged it in and now have power to the signal. I appreciate all the help, thanks again.
