It seems like he thinks Sportsters are not Harleys.However I read most of that thread.It seems like there may be a problem with the gears on all the new Ultras or an engineering problem with the design.Will it need fixed you bet,would another trans that had the same gears/engineering have fixed the problem and made him happy?No because the problem has not been solved yet.Mt bet is HD engineering is looking for a fix that will solve it for good.I worked at a GM dealer and we were not allowed to just replace a trans that had a problem either.Most manufacturers call back all of the parts during warranty failure on a new design to see what the hell happened.Sometimes it is the whole trans sometimes a $1 part.

i ACTUALLY POSTED IT IN ALL THE MODEL THREADS, AS I WANT TO GET THE WORD OUT THAT CTHD IS MAKING A HABIT OF BENDING PEOPLE OVER AND DRY ROOTING THEM.
THIS WAS SIMPLY AN FYI FOR OTHER HARLEY OWNERS THAT MIGHT BE CONSIDERING A PURCHASE FROM CENTRAL TEXAS HARLEY DAVIDSON IN AUSTIN, TEXAS.
