Is there any place on the bike that tell's me what the correct color of the bike is when it come frome the factory?
Other the VIN is there any date codes on the bike?

I typed in the Harley Davidson color in Google, and it gave me a site, this one http://www.be-unique.com/harley_paintcodes.asp. May be of help, may not.
