Great job man.I'd rather see a home built, home modified,or home painted, garage chop anyday over an expensive shiny "paid to have it done" bike.I love it!!!! You can't beat a rattle can paint job that you did yourself. I use rattle can for everthing. Why pay to have it done when you can do it yourself .You can ride everyday without worrying about "F"ing up an expensive paint job and you can touch it up anytime it needs it.Way to go man !!!!!
Looks good, very retro/race, i think the grunge only makes the theme look complete, used and abused. nice job. when the paint gets a little scratch and scuffed it will match the rest.
Very cool! I'd leave off the second stripe IMO since it would go with the already nonconformist look of the bike.
Same with the reflectors... no need for em with that look.
Nice rattle cannin'!
p.s. I'd also leave the engine as it is too... keep that 'rat bike' look
im leaving the engine dirty, i like that look. it matches becuase i didnt fill in the dings in the body. im still undecided about the second stripe, ill give it a few days.
the pictures make it look light (gay) blue, its really darker, trust me! haha
Nice job, but if I were going to take the time to paint it, I'd use some better paint.
Rattle can lacquer is not exactly solvent(gasoline) resistant.
Maybe you might get away with shooting some catalyzed acrylic enamel over it to help with solvent resistance.
Try a test piece first.
