Default RE: Advice re: Nightster/Sportster Low

[sm=drlove.gif]OK GUYS!!! The decision has been made. At the HD shop today as usual for Saturday either looking at Air Planes or Looking at Bikes. I am a Student Pilot just waiting on the temps to come back up to 10 degrees so I can fly again. MY DECISION IS: [sm=biker2.gif]
A 2008 MIDNIGHT BLUE883 LOW AND EVENTUALLY ADDING THE 1200 KIT.
My dealer has one and he is kinda putting it where it is not visible all the time. Otherwise he said he would have me one in by riding season. Just got to wait on financing and then it is mine. I am SOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!! [sm=icon_cheers.gif]I have finally made a decision. I am going with MID CONTROLS as we have a lot of Ruts in the road here in AK and the other night I went sliding in my Durango 4x4 w/my 4 yr old into a snow bank. Everybody was ok thank GOD and my vehicle had not a scratch on it by the GRACE of GOD[sm=insomnia.gif]. So I feel I would have more control with the Mid's d/t the road conditions here. Also, spoke with the manager at the dealership who happens to be a friend of mine and he highly recommends Mid's d/t the road conditions here. I will post pictures upon payment and putting it in the garage until riding season which starts in May here. Thank you for all of your input. I have set on the 883 C/L/R, 1200 C/L/R and felt the most comfortable on the 883 LOW. It is a beautiful bike!!!! Thank you to everyone who had input in this forum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations on your decision. I am sure you will love it. Sounds like you took the time to really thing about it and weigh your options and came up with what is going to be right for you! I had an 883 Low for about 3-1/2 months before moving to the Nighster (I really wanted the Nighster in the first place ... long story), but I loved it ... as I do the Nighster.

Happy and safe riding!
