I have reason to believe that it is for a big twin instead of a sportster, but Debrix Cycles, swears its for a 86-2003 Sporty....but they do not have a diagram..
I really want to hear if someone actually used it on a sporty.....

It is the side mount, under the gas tank,.
Debrix states that is is for a 2000, and it will fit, but you need to relocate the horn, and change the petcock...
