I'm actually kinda having fun doing this. I didn't touch my 2 previous Harley's. Just rode them. So this a new expereince for me. I seriously think you could go cross-eyed looking at all the stuff you can buy.
I agree! Then want to hide when your credit card bill comes in [:@]
I was going to go all out and do the belt guards and side covers but after viewing a lot of the bikes on here I felt the shape/contours/outline of the bike lost something with all the chrome.
Will probably do the belt guards but I am going to change the side covers very subtley.
The image has been photoshoped so you can see it in the picture but it will actually be black on black then clear coated so you will have to look closely to see the actual image.
The skull will actually be a black reflective decal
I think the black looks good. Too much chrome will take away from the actual centerpiece (the engine) IMO. It will call attention to the HUGE (IMO ugly) sidecovers.
If it was me I'd leave the side covers alone on yours Schumacher.
cheers Tone,
No I saw the decals on Ebay and I was trying to decide at to chrome or colour but then I though mmm
they would look ok and be unobtrusive but also a little bit extra side visability when car lights hit them.
I have a spare set of covers so if they look like ***** I will just get them colour coded.
They'll look sweet mate. The fact that they are black on black I like alot...in fact, here is the latest version of the decal we are getting...we changed it up and went black on black with a little highlights. Looks meaner now. It's my take on the Punisher Skull.
