I have a 06 Custom and I love it, But I like them all I would siton them both and witch ever one fits me better that is the one I'd buy. all the sportsters I've seen are cool bikes it's hard to chose.
the L is lower than the C but the seat has a lot to do with that. I bought a C and also bought the seat for the Low. There is a big difference between the two seats. I am 5'5 and with the Low seat, my feet can touch flat on the ground
Thanks for all of the feedback. I agree the 1200c does have a nice look. I do like the Chrome. I hope to have the bike by the end of the month or so. I will share pic's as soon as I can.
The biggest I bought the L over the C was the bigger front tire. THe only other thing for me was that I am not a fan of the solid back wheel. I bought my L with the spoked wheel option because of the look. Its all personal preference. Go with what you like best.
cbass68 has the same colour as mine. Take a look and compare. I added the tank trim personally as the L doesn't normally come with that. I found the stock tank too plain. A lot of what makes you choose one bike over another is the aesthetics. Little things that just look right to you. From a practical perspective, I wanted mid pegs for town riding and highway pegs for stretching out. I also like a decent comfy seat and a place for my passenger to be comfortable.

With some research (thanks deepsea), to me the one thing that I never have liked on the custom has been the riser, the riser on the low is alot cleaner looking, I will be looking for one as soon as I an done with this post. If anyone has one please PM me.
