I run a windshield, throwovers, fork bag, and just leave them on all the time. I do a lot of longer riding where I live just to get to a town that has parts, stuff, walmart, etc., so I constantly use my bike not just for riding or poker runs or trips, but just to run and do the weekly groceries and junk. Lot cheaper on gas where I live than my truck, and all the stuff I need is 35 miles or more away usually. I need all this stuff on mine pretty regular.
