best of luck... hope to see ya soon....
you are too good of assett of knowledge to lose around here!
Well Ace, I can relate. This section has me completely frustrated as of late. But you have to take it for what it is. If it's a joke, just laugh at it. There are a lot of morons in the world and they ALL know how to type and find places like this.
A perfect example is a guy in another thread who is bashing this forum in saying that he was going to re-wire his bike but wouldnt ask for help here because XLforums has more techs..when you give reasons, you are digging, and digging is bashing. I am a member of that board and they do have a few good techs over there but I would much rather talk it over on this board. I stated my preference without bashing the other board. To each his own, but no need to BASH the other place. The only reasonanyone ever bashes anyone elseis to try and put themselves on a pedestal. Unfortunately, the masses allow it to happen. I think somewhere in another thread it was said that bashing and flaming was not going to be tolerated... I like to see more of these 35 post guys (and some withmuch higher post counts)who just post half the timejust to bedevils advocate should get a warning and if they keep it up thenboot'em.
There have been a rash of posts lately in this forum that have NOTHING to do with sportsters or they have been designed to cause trouble.Us regular guys need to learn to just leave them alone and let them fall off the page. Or PM our moderator, suggestingthe topic be moved to an appropriate forum.
I understand everyone, or most of us are stir crazy and need to get out there and ride but this is ridiculous. I have never seen this board, this bad. Keep in mind to, if someone is pissing you off, you can block them. Try it, it will make your experience here, much better.
So take some time off bro. I won't miss ya. If you were having a good time, I would miss ya.. but you are having a rough go of it...so by all means take a break. It's all good. When you come back you will have a fresh perspective, like I did,and things won't bother you as much.
I wonder if the other site is offering free beer????[8D]

Is this because of all that silly "buy American" and "Jap Crap" crap a few days ago?
