Buell
Okay so, I was at strokers last weekend (dallas bar,grill,bike stealership place) and there was this 03 Buell Lightning there. It looked pretty cool, Carbon fiber body all over silver everywhere else. Had a snakeskin seat though, which I didnt care for. The guy comes up and I start talking to him. Didnt hear everything he had done to it, but S&S made him pipes for it. He cranks it up, I swear to god it sounded more like a harley than a sport bike. Didnt have my camera or I'd have pictures. Either way, it was pretty cool.
Cliff notes: Guy at Strokers had a Buell that sounded like a Harley.

Buell's have high-performance sportster motors in them. Your nightster happens to have buell XB heads on it as does any 1200 rubbermount. The bolt-in high-performance cams for the 04+ sportsters also happen to come stock on buells.
I swear to god it sounded more like a harley than a sport bike.
