Seat Scuff
Ok I think I read about this prior, however, cant find the post. Today I replaced by side cover to matching the tanks and fenders (blk cherry pearl) look great I think ! Anyways I had to take the seat off of course and there in I find some nasty rub marks under the seat and on the fender. Tried to rub them out a little with gold olde water - no good. Was wondering if anyone has a good solution?? I really would not mind a whole lot but plan on changing teh seat to a mustang solo this week and its gonna show up real good. Thanks in advance!

Buff em out with Meguirs Scratch X followed by wax then before reinstalling the seat get some rubber shelf liner from Walmart and cut a section to go between the seat/fender and your set. Thats what I did from day one as the staples and plastic seat pan will ruin your paint thanks to HDs por quality seats and no rubber bumpers. The Mustang seat you'll be getting has nice thick rubbber bumpers to keep the seat pan off the fender (had one myself for about 6k miles).
