I like the look of the denim/matte finishes.... ButI would never buy one.... Once denim paint is scratched or chipped... It's done.... It isn't like the clear coat finishes, which can be easily buffed or touched up.
I've been thinking of painting my olive N flat black since the day i bought it. I think it'd look great with a red/white/grey pinstripe on the tank and rear fender.
I paint everything on my bike with high-heat ceramic, bed liner, rubberized undercoating,or flat black/black primer....
Reason being is this...I ride EVERY DAY...regardless of weather, wind, traffic, etc. I also ride hard as F***...so I need to repair scrapes, rock chips, etc. on a constant basis. Flat black is easy to care for and easy to repair. It's also easy on the eyes and brings the lines of your bike out if done right...which is the exact opposite of what most would say.
Yes, it's been done all too many times before, but only because it honestly looks amazing when done right...case in point....look at Rob's bike.

Thanks...the headlight is an aftermarket one. I got it from the shop where I work on my bike. I can get it for you, if you're interested, in flat black or glossy black. It'll run about $140...that includes shipping.
