It's gettin about that time again.... I see we have many new members here in the Sportster section. Welcome all.
For those who haven't done it yet, please make sure your city and state (or general location) is displayed under your avatar so when you say "around here" we know where you are talking about when you say that. It's also very helpful if you include the year and model of your bike in your signature so that when you ask for help we know what bike you have.
Funny you bring this up. BikerTrash PM'd me yesterday asking about my jetting to later realize that I'm in CO and he's in WI so they'd be completely different. I thought that by having my City and State defined in my profile that it would show. Thanks for pointing out the "from" field I've updated mine to lessen the confusion.
Yea, It would probably be better if HDF would change the page so that the location displayed under the avatar drew its data from the line in the profile labeled "Location Details (City, State)" since most people do fill out that entry.
Well, I was going to do that but I don't live there anymore...but I want to go back there.....Problem is I don't know where I'm at, so I don't know which direction to take to get back.
If one of you here spot me, please tell me where I'm at.
