Hi guys. I am a new rider. Just bought my first 2004 HD sportster xl 883. This is my first bike that I will be learning on. Anyways. My dad brought the bike to my house for me and road it into my grage. He turned the key and by a mistake pulled it out in the accessory setting. I did not see this till the next night when I noticed that my speedo was lit up. It was in this setting for about 30 hours. I hoped on it and it started just fine. The speedo had a light yellow tint to it. Did this hurt the bike any? Is the speedo supossed to be bright or is this the right brightness for it?

Grab a Battery Tender (brand name for a specific type of long-term battery conditioner & recharger). They're cheap insurance. Let it sit on it for 24 hours. You'll likely be fine but you might as well go ahead and give the battery a proper conditioning charge.
From what I've been told, the tender will prevent about 95% of the charging problems as well. Just leave the bike plugged in when not in use, and you're good.
