Had my 883r stood over the winter, replaced tank, charged bettery gone to try and start her up, but all i'm getting is repeated clicks and no start, anyone got any ideas before I hand over to a harley stealer

Try cleaning and re-tightening both ends of each battery cable. A fully charged battery should measure 12+ volts if you turn the ignition switch to the ON position (lights on).

For some very annoying reason the battery cables are at fault in 95% of the situations like yours. It has gotten to the point on my bike where I check my FOUR battery-cable connections every month or two to eliminate the surprise no-start at 1:00 in the morning when I come out of somewhere and just want to get home. Frequently I find my negative battery cable loose, and more often that not, it is the battery connection end that is loose. I'm thinking of getting out the blue locktite for those four connections!
