Hey guys, I've got the kuryakyn iso grips on my bike right now. I'm switching the handlebars and I can get the right one off easily, however I see no way in removing the left grip on account that I used loctite when I put it on. I'm thinking I'm going to have to buy a new set but before I do I'm just curious if anyone has any secrets for removing the left one.
Thanks,
Jeremy
Loctite is very tough but not impossible.
1. Buy some SAF-T-LOK DEBOND which is a superglue release agent at www.saftlok.com.
2.Get a small flat tip screwdriver under the grip and try going very slowly around the grip.
3.With another screwdriver coated with debond try the same thing previously.
4.Keep at it very slowly with the 2 screwdrivers and debond, the debond takes a few minutes to penetrate.
5.Take your time and try to twist the grip off, you need lots of patience.
6.Good Luck
