Default Kuryaken hypercharger

I'm waiting for my tax refund to come, at which time I will be buying a sissybar & sideplates, a new rear tire, and maybe a Kuryaken hypercharger for the bike.
I have seen them in other bikes and I like the look. Especially the ones with the trick LED cover thingy on it.
How good are the hyperchargers? Anyone running one on their sporty?
I already have a stage 1 kit on the bike (came with it when I got it), but I don't know what the aftermarket AC is.

Test results previously posted for the Hypercharger pretty much call it, "all show & no go".

Ive heard mixed reviews on the hypercharger between fuel breakdown and only increasing performance numbers on the dyno not when riding. I have heard others who love it and think it looks cool (which it does) and having the butterfly flaps open and close when the throttle is twisted. So if you want looks its a good mod if you want performance a cone shaped fitler like the SE heavy breather is the way to go im not sure if harley has the heavy breather to fit your year or not

I have one on my bike. I love the look not sure if it does anything to the performance but people sure do ask me about it a lot.

There are air cleaners out there that flow better for sure. But I dont think you would ever notice the difference riding it. It will flow better that the stock unit, and it looks good, thats enough for me, I will be getting one soon.

I just installed one..not that I needed more air flow, but really to replaced the stock cover that was starting to look a little scratched. I already had a screamin eagle AC so I doubt the hypercharger can flow any more than I already had (or needed) but it does look better.
One thing to note...I found that I needed to hook my foot back around to hit the back brake and didn't like that. I just modified to brake pedal using a Kuryakin pad cover for a dyna so I get an extra inch of length out to the side...that should help. (haven't riden with the new pedal yet)
