Default clutch cable

Clutch cable snapped on a 2000 xl1200c gonna change it just wondering if theres any tips or anything i should look for Thanks in advance for any help

Yes and listen carefully. The side that you screw into your motor is plastic. Don't tighten it too much or it will break. Trust me, I know.

I've been doing that to my jap bikes for decades. But I haven't had a chance to do my Harley yet. Looking in the shop manual doesn't really offer any advice/tricks. Are there any that I should know about.

It seems to be nothing like lining up the slots and poping the cable out on the bikes of my past. I'm sure it will be evident once I start, but is there any advice of the best method?

Yeah, the Dri-Slide is good stuff.

In fact I used it today on the FatBoy clutch cable.

Here is another place where you can get it (in both aerosol or the bottle with needle), and their price seems to be quite a bit lower than in the link you showed.

(They only charge $9.95 for the 4oz bottle with needle, while JC Whitney seems to be charging $15.99 for the same thing)..

Just blow out your clutch (under warranty) they will lube the cable for ya
