this is proof for me!!!

like my accident how it obviously wasnt my fault but it got turned against me!! IM NOT ALONE

oh but yea that TOTALLY sucks, he "assualted" you first, your response was in "self defense"

well maybe not, but it im still amazed he didnt get anything for what he did..
I know, it amazes me how things can get turned around on you when you are the innocent party.

It got turned around on you because you punched him instead of having the toll attendant call the police on him. If you would have done that the ******* would be the one in trouble.

Sucks ,but that's how it is.

this is crazy talk. the dude clearly INTENDED to shove the captain along.

I commend the captain for his amazing self restraint in hitting the dude only once.

This dude probably has done this before and this time someone bit him back.

It makes me totally mad to know that he had to apologize. That must have been very very hard to do.

I would right away swear out a warrant before he does. right away. let's not be second here.

Sorry that this happened... I can only imagine your frustration.

I too, give you props for your restraint. I would have been livid had it been me. I've got a buddy that rides that carries some brass BB's in his coat pocket for things like these. Guy acting like an idiot in traffic and won't let him alone, out goes a handful of shot. That normally sorts it out. Besides, you can always argue road debris.

If he seeks charges against you, then I'd definatley get a lawyer for his stupidity. What a moron.

Doesn't the toll booth have cameras? Wouldn't that show therepeatedly repeatedly moving forward in his vehicle?

I don't blame your reponse, even if you do find more trouble from this. He's lucky that's all he got. Used to live in that area... worked off of the toll road onSunrise Valley drive for years. Everyone driving is late being somewhere and coupled with the amount of traffic, that toll road at rush hour is insane. Stay safe, good luck, and hopefully this will go away.

Obviously the best thing to do now is to get a speed pass or fast lane and never have to stop for tolls again.

Exactly. If you had just done the "right thing", you would have never gotten in trouble, while the driver most likely would have. A simple 911 phone call would have been the smartest thing to do.
So, by being a person without enough restraint, you ended up the "trouble maker" to the LEO's.

I obviously am not as "pyshcic" as others here on the board, who can state it was intentional from the other driver, without actual knowledge of ALL the facts. But I would assume that the responding LEO's did their best to get ALL the facts in the matter. And you said there were 7 of them? Itsounds like they did their investigation, and they determined that you were the one in the wrong. And, just from getting your side of the story, I'd say you were in the wrong also. That doesn't mean the other driver wasn't in the wrong also. But he must have had a better explanation for his deeds than you did.

Dumb fukin *******... [:@] He's pushing your bike with his van... wtf???? How is that not assault with a deadly weapon???I think you had every right to regulate on that punk! The VA troopers should have loaded up the whole "gibberish" talking bunch and shipped 'em back to their homeland.

How very "un-American" of you. [sm=boosign.gif]

And, if I were a moderator here, I would not allow such hateful racist comments on the board. You would recieve, at least, a temporary ban from the site. But I am not a moderator. So all I can say is BOO on you.

But,your's wasn't the only reply in this thread that makes me shake my head in dis-belief.

CapnAdventure, I DO NOT give you "props" for restraint, since you had very little. I could certainly understand having anger, and wanting to throttle the guy. But, actually doing it shows very little restraint or self control. Maybe in the future, if a similar situation arises, you will think twice before doing anything.

This is all just my opinion on how a civilized person should respond.

After reading this and some careful consideration....i've decided to give you my opinion. I'm an LEO but in Delaware. Yes i ride a motorcycle and yes i would be f*cking pissed if that happened to me. However, (dont hate me for this) if i were the officer responding you would be in the wrong (in the eyes of the law) in Delaware because you committed a misdemeanor assault. All the other dude did was bump the back of your bike, and since you haven't mentioned it yet, im assuming there was no damage. Had you called 911 the officers could/would have given him a traffic ticket or 2. But i also would have backed you up and tried to get the other guy to calm down about you hitting him. Just my .02
