'03 Exhaust Question
Does anyone know if the stock exhaust from an 05 883C will fit on an 03 1200? I have the chance to pick up a brand new takeoff system at a good price, but if it won't fit.

Don't see why it wouldn't fit being the difference is internal between the motors. Barring any frame/bracket changes, either check with a dealer for part number comparisons or look on a manufacturers site and see if they have the same part numbers for both bikes/systems.

I think I'm finding a few things out. Because of the different rear brake master cyl locations for the 03 to the 05 this changes how the system fits. If you know something different let me know. Everywhere I look I find the same part #'s for 86 to 03 and 04&05 are different.

hiya i have just done a stage one tune on my 883r,it was done at my local dealership,when iobtained the original parts after the work was done i noticed that mufflers had CATALIST TYPE ritten on them.this was for a 2005 year bike,hope this of help.motorcycles H/D
