Nashville had a pretty good guess. When I got my Low it already had dealer intalled forwards on it. The price of them listed on the sales tag hanging from the handlebar was $540.
Dude, go to Sears or Home depot buy some tools, then stop at your local convenience store and buy a 24 pack of (your choice) of beer, next stop at the market and buy some chips , salsa and stuff of that nature. Be aware the above listed items are a must if your going to install forward controls. Now pick up your phone and call one of your buddys that's not married ( because if he was, his wife probably wouldn't let him come over)BE sure to call someone with some mechanical aptitude. Drink a beer, fire up the BBQ, have some chips and start wrenching. That's the way we do it.
Do it your self. It's way cheaper. If you give it a try you just might succeed.
Its not hard....do it yourself and get some off ebay for $200-$250.....
....and I agree your dealer at those rates i figure would be between $500-$550
Look at it this way...most stuff isn't hard to do on your bike with even meager mechanical abiliy. Save the money for other mods. I've put $1100 into my bike and if I hadn't done it all (except dealer re-map) it woulda cost me at least twice as much!
