Default Cooling off

AS per Screeming Eagle Cat. you can get a cooling fan for big twin but none for xl.I was wondering if the aftermarket has filled this niche. Apparently it makes your engine run 20 degrees cooler. Good for parade duty and hot days. I gues with an oversized oil cooler , synthetic oil and a fan your engine would run so cool you could keep a few brewskis in the V to keep them cold.

that kit is interesting. Those are cooling fans found on PC's. Im not too sure about them being weatherproof.

Had these on mine for the past 4 months. Riding in the rain, washing the bike and they still work. They are not waterproof but definatelly water resistant. I have actually hooked these fans to a battery and then sprayed them with a water bottle and they keep working. Besides $69.95 with a 1 year warranty compared to Lenale at $219 and not sure about their warranty.

thats a good endorsement. I wonder if i could rig those up in place of where the stock horn goes and relocate the horn?

Not sure, this was designed to mount on the back of an oil cooler. I suppose one could make a bracket to fit in place of the horn. Just dont know how you would do that and still make it look good.

Interesting, you may be onto something........ do you know what the dimension of the horn cover is? I wonder if you can hide two 2 1/4 square fans behind the cover?

First, determine if it's a real problem. An accurate oil temperature gauge would be a start. Oil temperature fins, fans, and oil coolers have been a staple of aftermarketrip offs. Is it a problem, or something that you imagine would be good for your bike? Might be right in hot temp locality parade situations, but....
